    Formed in East Kilbride, Scotland in 1986, Only When I Glow are the best kept secret from the town that gave the world Aztec Camera and The Jesus and Mary Chain. A small number of almost-legendary live performances and hard to come by bootlegs were the only footprint the band left until the surprise release of 2 songs in 2021. That will change in 2025 with the release of the debut album 39 years in the making. It promises to be the most anticipated release of the year - in at least 3 households.

    "When I Go" is our origin story and was written at the Secret Coast Songwriters Masterclass in November '22, accompanied by James Grant and Robert Hodgens. Here it is performed live at The Glad Cafe with James Grant, Sandrine Certenais, Jamie Campbell & Peter Hall.
